Honestly, I don’t know how I’m progressing so well in French. It’s not a super complicated language, but it still hasn’t fully “clicked” with me.
This week was my Bronze promos for Silver, and I passed! Word choice was questionable in parts, but I still got through. The promos were:

1. A roleplay conversation with ChatGPT (shopkeeper scenario) where I used as many Bronze-level skills as possible.
2. Three prompts: ordering at a café, planning a vacation in Paris, and buying a train ticket.
3. A recall/comprehension section with translations, grammar corrections, and sentence-choice questions.
   Since I passed, I’m moving into Silver! still make money online with Beermoney to be my little side boost while studying. 👇

🎭 Scenario:

You’re traveling in France and decide to stop by a small local shop to ask for directions and buy something to eat. You’ll:

• Greet the shopkeeper
• Ask for help finding something in the shop
• Ask for directions to a place (e.g. a park or train station)
• Make small talk about the weather, what you’re doing later, etc.
• Say what you like/don’t like to eat
• Say what you’re going to do tomorrow
• End the conversation politely

👩 (shopkeeper):
Bonjour ! Bienvenue ! Je peux vous aider ?
Bonjour, merci. oui, m’aide s’il vous plait.
je voudrai checher des poulets. avez-vous ici?
👩 (shopkeeper):
Oui bien sûr, le poulet est là-bas, à côté des légumes. Vous voulez autre chose ?
ah merci. Oui ou est au Parc? C’est pre d’ici?
👩 (shopkeeper):
Oui, le parc est tout près ! Vous sortez du magasin, vous tournez à droite, puis vous allez tout droit pendant cinq minutes. C’est à côté de la boulangerie.
