What is Brandbee?
Brandbee is a beermoney passive earning and Get paid to do (GPD) app that pays you for:
- Letting the app collect data in the background
- Taking surveys
- Completing game offers
- Scanning receipts
- Logging in daily for $0.10 passive earnings
Before being rebranded as Brandbee, this app was known as Mobile Performance Meter. It used to pay up to $0.25 per day just for running in the background. These days, it’s closer to $0.10/day, and it now requires your device to have a SIM card to qualify.
Passive Earnings – $0.10 Daily Payout
This is the easiest way to earn:
- Passive earning ($0.10 daily) is tied to having a SIM card installed and mobile data occasionally enabled. Wi-Fi-only phones won’t earn anything anymore.
- App collects usage data in the background
- No action needed after setup
- If your SIM doesn’t connect to a mobile network, Brandbee may stop crediting the passive daily payout.
Earlier Mobile Performance Meter versions used to let you earn even without a SIM or on Wi-Fi only. That’s no longer the case.
You don’t need to open the app every day, but make sure the app is running and connected.
Surveys – Mid-Tier Payouts
Brandbee offers surveys regularly. Based on my experience:
- Payouts are average, better than some apps, worse than top-tier ones
- You’ll occasionally find good ones
- If you fail a survey, you’ll get access to a page with tons more options

Receipt Scanning – Limited Use
- Brandbee is owned by Prodege, the same company behind:

- Upromise
- This is why receipt scanning is linked across their platforms, they share the same backend. So you can’t scan the same receipt if you’ve scanned it with any of the other apps.
Also, unlike Swagbucks’ scanner, you must manually select offers after uploading a receipt, which is kind of annoying.
Game Offers – Mixed Bag
Brandbee includes multi-level game tasks — these work like Tapjoy or Playtime offers. Here’s what I found:
- Tapjoy and Playtime payouts are pretty low
- RevU and MyChips offer walls are more reasonable, mid-tier payouts
- Game tasks are usually standard (reach X level, complete tutorial, etc.)
