๐ฅ Speaking German: Bronze 1
๐งพ Intro / Reflection
Iโve been learning German for about a year and half but restarted German from the beginning using my rank system to track real progress. Honestly German is probably the hardest language for me so far with all the grammatic rules, even with over a year of learning, I still felt like I couldn’t speak it part from super basic stuff. This first week was all about re-learning the basics: how to greet someone, introduce myself, and get comfortable with basic sentence structure.
Iโve been stacking study time with passive earners like surveys or cashback apps. Slow growth, but itโs all part of building XP in multiple areas at once. ๐
๐ธ Earn While You Learn
I like to stack beermoney while I study languages, most of these apps are super low-effort and just give me a nice bonus on top of learning. Itโs not job-replacement money, but it adds up, especially since Iโve become more introverted. ๐

โ Bronze 1 German Test Results
โ Section 1: Greetings & Introductions
- “Guten Tag, ich bin Andy, und du?” โ Excellent! Natural and polite.
- “Wie heiรen Sie?” โ Correct for formal, though with “und du?” earlier, it would be more consistent to say “Wie heiรt du?” (informal). But you know both โ solid.
- “ja, nein” โ Perfect.
โ Pass
โ Section 2: Simple Sentences
- “ich bin student” โ Grammatically fine! Though technically in German youโd capitalize Student (nouns are capitalized): Ich bin Student.
- “er ist amerikanisch” โ Good structure. For nationality, Germans often say “Er ist Amerikaner” (as a noun), but “amerikanisch” is understandable and shows correct adjective use.
- “ja ich bin Andy” โ Excellent simple sentence and response to a yes/no question.
โ Pass
โ Section 3: Days & Numbers
- Days of the week:
โ All correct! Minor spelling error on Dienstag and Sonntag, but still recognizable. - Numbers 1โ10:
โ Perfect sequence. Minor typo:- “funf” โ should be fรผnf
- “auch” โ probably meant acht
Still, based on sound and sequence, you clearly know them.
โ Pass
โ Section 4: Quick Responses
- “bitte” as a reply to โThank you!โ โ โ๏ธ Spot on.
- “Hallo, ich heiรe Andy” โ Perfect natural reply to โHi! Whatโs your name?โ
