Cash Cow has been around for years, so I decided to revisit it after not using it for a while to see whether the app had improved enough to compete with modern beermoney apps. Unfortunately, while the app is still functional and legit, it honestly feels outdated compared to many newer apps available today.
Cash Cow follows the same formula as many older “play games for money” apps, basically playtime rewards. You earn coins by completing game offers and surveys, then cash out those coins for PayPal or gift cards. On sign-up, you’ll receive 3,599 coins, which puts you around 70–75% of the way toward the minimum PayPal cashout.
While the app isn’t necessarily terrible, it still feels like a fairly low-quality beermoney app overall. There are some decent aspects, but compared to other apps that offer the same games for significantly higher payouts, Cash Cow struggles to really stand out.
How to Earn on Cash Cow
Earnings Boosters
One of the more unique features Cash Cow offers is its earnings booster system. These boosters temporarily increase your coin earnings from games.
There are currently three boosters:
- Mega Booster: 3x coins once per day
- Evening Booster: 1.5x coins Monday–Thursday (5 PM – 10 PM)
- Weekend Booster: 2x coins Friday–Monday (5 PM – 5 AM)
The Mega Booster is the only one I could consistently activate. The other two either seem bugged or may require additional unlock conditions, because I couldn’t reliably get them working even during their listed active windows.
Each booster appears to last about one hour. If you plan on using them, it’s best to activate them right before completing a game task.
Games
Games are clearly the primary earning method on Cash Cow.
Like most modern beermoney apps, all of the games are multi-level reward offers. Each game contains a list of tasks or milestones, with specific payouts attached to each objective.
One thing I’ll give Cash Cow credit for is that the game selection is actually fairly decent. There are some genuinely solid offers and recognizable games available.
The problem is the payout.
Compared to many other beermoney apps, the game rewards here are usually below average. Even with the boosters active, the payouts only become “acceptable” rather than competitive. Most of the time, you’ll earn significantly more doing the same game offer somewhere else.
Because game offers usually require you to be a new user, it’s important to choose carefully where you complete them. In most cases, I’d rather save those offers for a higher-paying platform.
I will add that these types of apps will have certain game offers that you won’t see on other beermoney platforms. Since you have to be a new user, if you want to maximize the earnings on your device you could try squeezing out some offers from this app.
Surveys
Cash Cow technically offers surveys, but honestly, the payouts are so low that they barely feel worth mentioning.
The surveys I saw were typically paying around:
- 7–8 coins per survey
- Which equals roughly $0.0007–$0.0008
Yes, fractions of a penny. Now this could be a typo, but I’m not very willing to take the time to do a survey just to check, when I’d rather just do a survey on a far better survey platform.
Even if the app occasionally offers higher-paying surveys, the average payout is among the lowest I’ve seen on any survey platform so far.
If you’re downloading Cash Cow specifically for surveys, I would strongly recommend using a different survey app instead.
Additional Offers
These offers are located in the payouts tab, although the only one I consistently see is Chime, so I’m mainly basing this on that offer. To access it, you first have to spend coins; for Chime, it costs 3,999 coins (roughly $4 worth of earnings). After unlocking it, the offer requires you to deposit a certain amount to earn the $75 reward.
Compared to better beermoney apps, this isn’t very competitive. I’ve seen Chime offers worth as much as $480 on other platforms, and those usually don’t require spending your earnings just to unlock the offer in the first place.
Assuming future offers appear in the same payouts section, they’ll likely follow a similar system and require coins to unlock as well. Based on how this current offer works, I personally wouldn’t rely on this section as a meaningful way to earn.
User Experience & Problems
This is where Cash Cow feels the weakest.
The app’s UI feels outdated, clunky, and occasionally buggy. Navigation isn’t particularly smooth, and some sections feel poorly optimized or unfinished.
The biggest disappointment is that the app sometimes offers genuinely good game offers, but the payout rates are too low to justify completing them here instead of on better-paying platforms.
The surveys also feel almost pointless due to the extremely low rewards.
Overall, the app feels like it hasn’t evolved much despite being around for years.

Final Thoughts, Is Cash Cow Worth It?
Would I recommend Cash Cow in 2026?
Probably not.
The app isn’t a scam, and you can definitely earn money from it, but it falls behind most modern beermoney apps in almost every category. The surveys pay practically nothing, and while some of the game offers are decent, the payouts are generally too low compared to competing apps.
The booster system is a nice idea, but even with boosted rewards, the earnings usually still don’t outperform better alternatives.
If you already use a lot of beermoney apps or just want one, this wouldn’t be the top of my list of recommendations. Cash Cow might still be worth trying for occasional offers, since certain offers will show up only on these lower quality apps. But if you only want to focus on the best-paying apps, there are much better choices available.
Overall, Cash Cow feels more like an outdated leftover from a previous generation of beermoney apps rather than a platform that has kept up with the current market.
