Introduction:
“After years in the beermoney space testing apps, platforms, and payout systems, I decided to start tracking everything publicly. These monthly logs will show real earnings, honest experiences, and progress from side hustles, trading, and investing so you can see what’s possible, what’s trash, and what I recommend.
If you’re curious how certain apps work behind the scenes, my detailed video reviews & blog breakdowns are linked where available.”
P.S. – my video reviews are pretty long, I have them to share my mindset of things while doing a full walkthrough, whether it’s reverse engineering, why I don’t use or earn from a specific thing, etc.

💳 Payment Proof

This was a pretty good month for JustPlay. I made almost $100 from payouts alone, it’s been a while since I’ve had a month this profitable with the app. I’m still experimenting to figure out which games tend to trigger higher-paying ads and what factors determine payout amounts, especially since there’s no clear conversion rate or explanation of how your payout is affected.
There’s not too much else to say about JustPlay, but it continues to be one of my most consistent earners. The pay might not be as high as grinding surveys or completing multi-level game offers, but it’s definitely reliable, you’ll get paid as long as you put time into it. I’ve been using JustPlay for years, and it’s become something I enjoy doing casually while watching anime or playing other games. It’s low effort, and the extra earnings feel like a nice bonus for time I’d be spending relaxing anyway.
Definitely still one of my most recommended apps.

I won another JustPlay giveaway! 🎉 This is the second time I’ve won, and it came with a nice $100 bonus just for using the app. Honestly I didn’t think I’d win the drawing for this giveaway. It feels great to earn an extra reward on top of my usual JustPlay earnings, especially since I was already using it as part of my normal routine. That $100 basically adds up to an extra month (or even a month and a half) of what I’d typically make from JustPlay alone.

I’m not the biggest fan of this beermoney site, but I have to admit, it pays quite fairly, especially considering how quick and simple the tests are. UserCrowd is a testing platform that pays you to give feedback on websites, apps, logos, and even brand name choices. Most of the tests I’ve done pay the equivalent of (or even more than) minimum wage, given how short they are and how little time they take to complete.
I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. The only major downside is that tests don’t appear very often, so opportunities can be infrequent. Still, when they do show up, they’re definetly worth doing.

BestPlay Payment Proof Screenshot

I’ve been using BestPlay for about a month now, so this marks my first full month with the app. BestPlay is essentially a copy of JustPlay with a few key differences. The main goal is still to trigger as many ads as possible before the payout timer, but BestPlay runs on a four-hour cycle instead of JustPlay’s three-hour cycle.
Since it’s still pretty new to me, I’ll be continuing to test things out over time. I think there’s a lot of potential here; especially considering how frequently the app gets updates, changes, promotions, and the pay is fairly decent. However, I’ve run into some internal server errors that stop me from using the app until support resolves them. While JustPlay also experiences occasional server issues, the developers usually fix those much faster, and you don’t have to contact support to get them resolved.
Overall, I’d recommend giving BestPlay a try. It definitely has potential, and I’ll keep updating my written review as I learn more and as new updates roll out.

Nothing much has changed for Swagbucks this month, still just earning from the True[x] ads.

Scrambly Payment Proof Screenshot

Scrambly is a new app I’ve been testing out, and so far, it’s been great. I’ve made over $100 in under a month without much effort. The main way to earn is by playing games, and many of them pay quite well, some of the highest-paying offers I’ve seen among similar apps for some of the games.
Most of the game tasks I’ve looked at are very achievable, and unlike many other beermoney apps, most offers don’t have strict time limits (not all). The app itself is well-designed and does a good job of tracking your progress fast and accurately. Overall, Scrambly has a lot of potential if everything lines up right.
I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

PaidViewpoint Payment Proof Screenshot

Honestly, this wasn’t the best month for PaidViewpoint. I didn’t get many surveys, I usually make around $60 or more per month, but this time I only made $18.51. I can’t remember exactly, but I think it’s pretty common for me to see fewer surveys toward the end of the year. We’ll see how things go next month.
Even with the slower month, PaidViewpoint still remains one of the best and most reliable survey sites I’d recommend. A lot of the surveys I get pay more fair and are quicker to complete than other survey sites, on top of the $0.10 pay even from getting disqualified.

Survey Junkie Payment Proof Screenshot

I’m not the biggest fan of Survey Junkie. I usually check it every hour or so throughout the day to see if there are any decent surveys worth doing or if any “Surf to Earn” surveys are available, that’s mainly how I earn on the platform. Every so often I do get paid $0.10 from just browsing and searching on the internet, which is a nice added bonus, almost like a passive earner.
In my experience, most surveys aren’t really worth the time considering how low the payouts are compared to the effort required. They also tend to fill up faster than on other survey sites I’ve used.
That said, it’s still a good rule of thumb to keep multiple survey sites. Even if some don’t pay very well, having more options increases your overall chances of finding good surveys to complete.

📈 Trading Account Progress
I’ll be honest, this month wasn’t great. I took losses across all my accounts. I don’t want this to sound like an excuse, but I genuinely think I just got unlucky. I saw all the usual indicators and patterns that typically signal a reversal or a good buying opportunity. Unfortunately, the stocks I entered ended up plummeting. I’m not entirely sure why, but that’s the market sometimes. Still, I don’t want to lean on luck or bad timing as a scapegoat, nothing is ever guaranteed in the stock market anyway.
I think it’s time to adjust my trading strategy; to trade smarter and with more discipline. There were two or three trades where I lost a couple hundred dollars this month, mostly due to greed. There was one trade where I could have walked away with around $50 in profit, but I held on too long because I expected the stock to climb higher based on previous range patterns. Instead, it dropped sharply, and I ended up taking a loss.
Moving forward, I’m planning to take a month or two to reassess the market and overhaul my trading strategy. I don’t want to keep relying on a flawed system that I’ve been slowly patching together over time. I also don’t want to trade out of desperation to recover my losses, that’s a dangerous mindset. My focus now is on building discipline and removing emotion from my decisions, or at least as much as I can. I’ll finally start using stop losses to prevent large losses, especially since I tend to trade more volatile stocks. The market doesn’t reward emotional trading, so it’s time to approach things as logically as possible.
I might still make a few selective trades if I find high-confidence setups, but for now, my priority is strategy refinement.
Lastly, this isn’t meant as an excuse, but I’m also planning a career shift soon; one that will conflict with market hours. Because of that, I want to develop a more flexible trading approach that doesn’t require me to monitor the market constantly, since I won’t be able to have my phone out constantly during work.
There isn’t much to say for each individual account this month, and I won’t be writing detailed thoughts for each one. I’ll just post the monthly progress and leave my overall reflections here.
Account 1: Webull
Funded initially with $1,736 from beermoney, not continued funds, only grows from profitable trades.

Account 2: Robinhood
Funded with Beermoney, also funded monthly from JustPlay cashouts.

This was the first month of my “funding my phone with stocks” challenge. I started with $649 (the cost of the phone) and set up a refinancing equivalent of $18/month. To make it a bit tougher on myself, I raised the goal to $843.70 total and $24/month width drawn from the account to pay for the monthly phone payments.

Account 3: eToro
Funded with Beermoney, also will be funded monthly from JustPlay cashouts.

💡 $1/Day Investment Challenge
Account: Fidelity

I invest $1 a day to show small amounts still build toward long-term retirement goals. Consistency & habit > big deposits.
Final Thoughts
Despite how rough my trading went this month, the beermoney payouts were pretty solid, especially with the extra $100 from the giveaway. Things definitely could have gone worse. This isn’t to say I don’t care about losing money, but everything I invest in stocks is money I’m willing to risk. Plus, most of it comes from what I earn during my spare time of playing games or watching anime, so it feels like bonus income in a way.
Of course, I’d much rather avoid losses altogether, since every bit of profit gets me closer to building enough capital to potentially live off my trading without needing a traditional job, which would be an incredible milestone.
Next month, I’ll be adding a few new apps to my list for cashouts and reviews. I’m hoping to get back to trading more comfortably, recovering some of my losses, and growing my accounts soon again.
Here’s to hoping next month goes a lot better!
