πŸ“ December Monthly Earnings & Progress – Beermoney, Trading & Investment Progress Log

Introduction:
After years in the beermoney space testing apps, platforms, and payout systems, I decided to start tracking everything publicly. These monthly logs will show real earnings, honest experiences, and progress from side hustles, trading, and investing so you can see what’s possible, what’s trash, and what I recommend.
If you’re curious how certain apps work behind the scenes, my detailed video reviews & blog breakdowns are linked where available.”
P.S. – my video reviews are pretty long, I have them to share my mindset of things while doing a full walkthrough, whether it’s reverse engineering, why I don’t use or earn from a specific thing, etc.

πŸ’³ Payment Proof

This was definitely one of my best months on JustPlay. I typically average around $60–$70 per month, but this month nearly doubled that, coming in just under $120. This increase was not entirely unexpected, given that it coincided with one of the largest advertising periods of the year; Christmas. During major spending holidays, ad quality and payouts tend to be higher, which benefits apps that rely heavily on ad revenue.

JustPlay also ran a holiday promotion tied to the Daily Challenge and Treasure Keys, which further boosted earnings.

The app continues to be my most consistent source of beer money. Unlike surveys or game offers, I do not need to wait for a favorable opportunity to appear; as long as I use the app, I can reliably earn, even though payout rates may vary.
Still one of my most recommended apps.

I likely would have earned noticeably more from Best Play this month, but I ran into several issues. For the first half of the month, I was locked out due to an internal server error. I submitted two support tickets without resolution, and it ultimately took a third ticket for the issue to be fixed, which was frustrating.

This highlights one of my main drawbacks with Best Play. While JustPlay also experiences occasional server downtime, those issues are usually resolved automatically and rarely last more than a few hours. Best Play, by contrast, can remain unusable for extended periods.

Another downside is the $30 account balance cap. I wanted to test whether this limit had been increased, but it has not. Any earnings beyond the cap do not roll over. For example, if your balance is $29.99 and you earn $1.00, you lose $0.99. This loss is real and not a hypothetical scenario.

Inboxdollars just continues to be a routine app of watching ads from True[x].

Scrambly Payment Proof Screenshot

This was simply a continuation of payouts from a game offer I started last month. I took my time completing the offer, so part of the payout carried over into this month. As usual, it was surprising to see some of the highest payouts for a game that typically pays much less on other apps.

I still recommend keeping this app in your beer money game-offer rotation, even if only to check in periodically, as it occasionally features game offers that pay significantly more, if not the most, than the same offers elsewhere.

Survy Junkie Payment Proof Screenshot

Survey Junkie is one of my more frequently used survey platforms, though it is not among the highest-paying options overall. From time to time, I do receive a decent or well-paying survey, usually a couple of times per week, which may be influenced by my demographics. That said, I use the same demographic information across all survey apps, and despite that consistency, I tend to receive better-paying surveys on other platforms.

As mentioned in my review, from time to time, I see the same surveys appear on Survey Junkie as on other survey sites, but they almost always pay less. This overlap is one of the more reliable ways to compare survey payouts across platforms, although it does not happen often enough to make comparisons easy or consistent.

I personally prefer the β€œSurf to Earn” surveys. These are typically very short and have a much lower disqualification rate beyond the initial demographic screening. If you are disqualified, it usually happens within the first few questions rather than near the end, and you always receive a small disqualification payout, which makes them more time-efficient overall.

Money Time Payment Proof Screenshot

Money Time is another JustPlay-style app that has been around for quite some time. I have tried it on and off over the years, but even now, it has not improved in the way I had hoped, especially when compared to how much JustPlay itself has evolved. Despite its longevity, the app continues to fall short in both payouts and overall quality.

While it is not the worst JustPlay-style copy available, it still underperforms compared to newer alternatives that offer higher payouts and a more polished experience, despite being much newer. I will continue to check in on the app periodically to see if it improves enough to become a viable competitor, but at this point, it is not one I would recommend.

Walk Task Payment Proof Screenshot

Walk Task is a walking-based earning app that has performed better for me than the last walking app I tried. While walking apps are not known for high payouts, the earning model is still appealing. Although you do need to watch a fair number of ads to claim in-app currency, the conversion rate and overall earnings have been the best I have seen among walking apps so far.

Because most of the earning process involves watching ads, it works well alongside low-attention activities such as watching videos, playing casual games, or doing light tasks around the house. It also serves as a modest incentive to stay active while earning a small amount in the process.

This is likely an app worth trying if you want to avoid survey disqualifications, waiting for high-paying game offers, or relying on surveys to appear. In practice, you are primarily watching ads, and the app also offers additional ad-based earning methods that are not tied directly to walking.

Final Thoughts

This was another fairly uneventful month overall. I did not trade much, as I have decided to start a new trading challenge next month, which I will discuss in more detail then. Beer money earnings remained stable, with JustPlay standing out in particular. It was my highest-earning month on JustPlay without winning a giveaway, nearly doubling what I would typically cash out in a month.

I also want to mention that I felt somewhat shortchanged by Best Play this month, as I was locked out for the first half due to an error they repeatedly claimed had been fixed but had not.

Aside from that issue, the month was as solid as any other for beer money. JustPlay made it a relatively satisfying way to close out the year, even though the month itself did not significantly outperform others or feature an exceptional spike in earnings.

Here’s hoping things continue to improve and run smoothly in the coming year.
