Money time doesn’t have a referral link.
Money Time is a beermoney app that pays you to watch ads while playing simple mobile games. It’s essentially a JustPlay-style clone, with similar mechanics but different games and noticeably lower average payouts. Earnings are not based on a transparent coin-to-cash conversion rate, instead, payouts appear to depend more on ad volume, ad quality.
Money Time also mentions that the main source that determines what your payout is from the amount of ads you watch from their games. They also say that achievements are also another way of increasing your earnings, which essentially means playing and progressing through their games, but from my experience it doesn’t feel like it affects your earnings much.
I’ve been using Money Time on and off throughout 2025. While it’s not better than JustPlay (and pays less in my experience), the app has been improving. Recently, the developers added more games, introduced an offerwall, and improved ad availability, meaning less waiting between ads. These changes suggest the app is slowly becoming more stable and trustworthy, though it still has a long way to go.
At the time of writing, I wouldn’t replace JustPlay with Money Time, but it may be worth revisiting in the future if payouts improve.
Important: Account Recovery Warning
Like JustPlay and most JustPlay copy apps, Money Time has no account system.
- Your earnings are tied to the device, not an email or login
- Factory resets, broken phones, or switching devices may permanently lock you out
- Face verification is required for cashouts, making “starting over” difficult
⚠️ Avoid using old or unreliable phones. You don’t need a flagship device, but losing access can mean losing all progress.
Coin Goal Explained
Each 3-hour cycle includes a coin goal that claims to offer an “extra payout.” In practice:
- The payout difference is minimal (often just a few cents)
- There’s no visible conversion rate, so it’s hard to verify
- You still get paid even if you don’t hit the goal
The upside: Money Time games earn coins passively, even if you aren’t actively playing. Hitting the goal is usually easy, so it’s not something to stress about.
Daily Streak
Daily streaks reward coins just for opening the app. Since coins don’t have a clear cash value and goals are easy to hit, streaks aren’t very important overall.
How You Earn on Money Time
Money Time runs on a 3-hour earnings cycle. Every cycle, your points are converted into cash.
Despite what the app claims, earnings seem to depend more on:
- Number of ads watched
- Type and quality of ads
- Ad availability during the cycle
Compared to JustPlay, ads load slower and less consistently, which is one reason payouts feel lower. Some games initially show many ads, then slow down the long you have a game open, closing and reopening a game can sometimes reset this.
Lower ad volume usually signals a lower-quality or newer app, whereas JustPlay benefits from long-term advertiser trust.
Best Games for Triggering Ads (2025)
⚠️ Coins are earned passively just by keeping games open.
Dot Connect King (Recommended)
- Start a level
- Use the hint button to auto-complete
- Very easy ad triggering
WordVenture
- Tap the coin icon (top-right)
- Watch ads for 250 coins
- Works from home screen or mid-level
Bus Flow Time
- Unlock hint button by completing a level
- Use shop or gem button for 100 gems per ad
- Can be spammed
SwordSlash
- Spam knives until failure
- Use continue to trigger ads repeatedly
Solace Solitaire
- Spam the hint button
- Refill hints by watching ads (5 hints per ad)
Ball Sort Puzzle
- Add vials via top-right button
- Undo once full to reset
Yummy Tiles (Not Recommended)
- Limited ads (10 per day)
- Can reset by reinstalling the game
Yummy Tiles 2
- Force shop access by running out of coins
- Tedious and slow ad triggering
Mahjong Tile Trio
- Same limits as Yummy Tiles
- Ads from coin button or doubling rewards
Bounce & Break
- Random forced ads every few minutes
- Revive ads after failure
Juicy Candy Quest
- Spam coin button on main screen
- Short cooldown between ads
There’s still a couple games I didn’t add, which I’ll add if I think anyone would want to play them or if there’s any easy ad triggering ones.
⚠️ Uninstalling/reinstalling games (not the app) may reset ad limits but carries ban risk. I’ve done this for years without issues, but there’s always the risk.
Offerwalls (New Feature)
Money Time recently added offerwalls:
- Play: Multi-level game tasks
- Web: Website visit tasks (lower restrictions)
- Shopping: Cashback & money-making offers
⚠️ There is no conversion rate, making it risky (especially for the shopping tab). If you only have one phone, it’s usually better to complete offers on higher-paying platforms instead.
Verification Process
Face verification is required for your first cashout.
- Use a well-lit room
- Keep your face aligned even if it says “processing”
- The scan may continue after the camera disappears
Cashout Options
- Minimum cashout: $2.00
- Cashout time: Instant to 2–3 days
- Payment methods:
- PayPal
- Gift cards (only visible once minimum is reached, I’ll update this in the near future)
Payment proof:

I did get the cashout within minutes of requesting it, which is essentially instant pay, I forgot my email with Money Time wasn’t linked to my Paypal until a couple days later.
Pros & Cons
Pros

- Lower pay than JustPlay
- Ads can be sparse
- $2 cashout is high for this category

- United States
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- New Zealand
- South Africa
Developers have mentioned expanding to more countries in the near future.
Final Thoughts
I can’t fully recommend Money Time right now. It’s not a scam, and it does pay, but earnings are consistently lower than JustPlay and other clones. That said, the app is improving: more games, better ad availability, and new earning options.
If you have an extra phone and enjoy ad-based earning apps, it may be worth testing. Personally, I prefer these apps over surveys or game offers because you always get paid, no disqualifications, no tracking failures, just time-based earnings.
Money Time is decent, improving, but still behind the competition. I’ll likely revisit it in the future to see if payouts catch up.
FAQ
Is Money Time legit or a scam in 2025?
Money Time is legit. I’ve personally cashed out and received payments, and you can see my payment proof screenshot above.
How does Money Time work and how do you earn money playing games?
Money Time pays you to play games, but more specifically, it pays you to watch ads while playing games.
Your earnings depend on:
- How many ads you watch
- The quality and payout rate of those ads
The main strategy is triggering as many ads as possible. I list how to trigger ads in most of the games and which ones I recommend for earning.
How much can you realistically earn with Money Time per day or month?
Honestly, not much. I’d estimate around $1 per day or less.
Out of all the JustPlay-style apps I’ve tested, Money Time is one of the lowest-paying clones so far.
Some users earn more than I do, but they also tend to earn less on Money Time compared to similar apps.
Does Money Time really pay out every 3 hours?
Yes. Every 3 hours, your coins are converted, reset back to zero, and you’re paid a certain amount based on your activity during that cycle.
Why am I earning less on Money Time than similar apps like JustPlay?
This is a common complaint. It likely comes down to:
- Lower-quality ads
- Fewer ads available
- A higher cut taken by Money Time compared to competitors
Even newer JustPlay clones that have been around for less time often pay more than Money Time.
What affects how much Money Time pays per game session?
The biggest factors seem to be:
- The number of ads you watch
- The quality and payout rate of those ads
- Progression in games
They mention that this is a factor, but it doesn’t feel like it is. No matter how far I get into their games, it doesn’t seem to increase my earnings much if anything compared to just spamming ads.
There may be additional factors Money Time doesn’t disclose, but ads seem to be the main driver of earnings.
What is the minimum payout on Money Time and how fast is payment?
- Minimum payout: $2
- PayPal payouts: Usually instant or within minutes
- Other payout options: Likely instant to 1–3 days
The $2 minimum is slightly high compared to similar ad-based gaming apps.
What gift cards does Money Time offer besides PayPal?
I’ll update this section soon, since you need to reach the minimum payout to see all options.
Based on similar apps, expect common gift cards like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and others.
Why are ads taking longer to load on Money Time?
This is just an assumption, but apps that:
- Get fewer ads
- Have long ad-loading times
Are often viewed as lower quality by advertisers. This usually leads to fewer ad opportunities and lower-paying ads, which directly affects earnings.
Money Time vs JustPlay — which app pays better in 2025?
JustPlay pays significantly better.
Most user comparisons and personal tests show JustPlay as the clear winner.
Money Time has been around for years, yet still struggles to match JustPlay’s:
- Ad volume
- Ad quality
- Overall payouts
Even newer JustPlay clones often outperform Money Time in earnings.
