I’ve been using AppKarma for many years. Back when Terms of Service ( ToS) weren’t as strictly enforced in the beermoney space, I ended up creating multiple accounts over time, not all at once, but mostly because I switched phones often and forgot which email I used to sign up. Instead of going through the hassle of recovering old accounts, I just made new ones.
That being said, I don’t recommend making multiple accounts, it is against the ToS, and ToS is enforced more than it used to be.
I can’t accurately show my lifetime earnings, but it’s definitely over $1,500, with most of that coming from when Playtime Rewards was in its prime. I’ll be putting together a full page soon about Playtime Rewards; how great it used to be, how much it’s declined, and why I don’t recommend it nearly as much now.
🔎 What Is AppKarma?
AppKarma is a play-to-earn beermoney app that rewards you for downloading and playing games, completing app offers, and doing small daily tasks. I’ve used it for years and earned over $1,500 lifetime.
Back when I first started, AppKarma’s playtime rewards (earn per minute) were a lot better. These days, most of the rewards are earn-by-level or earn-by-task, still profitable, but no longer the passive grind it used to be.
What makes AppKarma unique compared to other beermoney apps is its reward level system: the more offers you complete and cash out, the higher your account level gets. Higher levels unlock bonus multipliers on AppKarma’s own offers (not offerwalls or playtime rewards), which means loyal users get rewarded over time.

🎮 Ways to Earn on AppKarma
1. App & Game Offers
- Download games and reach milestones (multi-level rewards).
- AppKarma tends to include more obscure games that aren’t always listed on other platforms, which can sometimes mean higher payouts.
- Popular/common game offers are included too, but some payouts are average compared to competitors.

2. Daily Check-Ins
- Some regions have daily login bonuses.
- I don’t have this feature in the U.S., but other countries may.
3. Playtime Rewards
- Once the core of AppKarma earnings, now it’s mostly earn-by-level instead of per minute.
- Some regions still have per-minute offers, but they’re rare and capped.
- Unless you have earn-per-minute, I recommend skipping, it’s not worth the time.
4. Scratch Cards
- Earn scratch cards by completing offers or hitting daily streak goals to unlock higher level cards
You can only get to the next level of scratch card once a day iirc, so try to keep your point earnings in mind if you want to min-max this. - Cards range from small wins (a few cents) to larger prizes, I once pulled $10.
- Limited to once per day unless earned through tasks/offers.
Each scratch card will have a multiplier (x1/x2/x3) at the top and a 3×3 block below, depending on what you match or get from scratching determines the amount of points you get, then multiplied by the multiplier at the end.
Scratch Cards from Games:
Some games reward you with scratch cards. Typically, the harder the task or the further you progress in the challenge list, the higher the tier of scratch card you’ll earn, meaning higher potential rewards.
To access these cards, go to the piggy bank icon, under Karma Play. This section stores the scratch cards you’ve earned from games. Tap on a card to open the associated game; you’ll need to keep the game app open for a few minutes to unlock the card.
It can sometimes take a bit to register, so if it doesn’t unlock right away, try again. You don’t need to actively play, just leave the app running for a couple of minutes before returning to AppKarma.
5. Achievement Badges
- ~40 badges for completing tasks (installing apps, completing offers, etc.).
Some of the badges have multiple tiers to them, I wouldn’t worry too much about completing them, a lot of them will be completed over time as you use Appkarma. - Used to give permanent bonuses but now seem to have moved into the reward level system.
6. Ad Watching
- Watch up to 20 ads per day (~$0.02 total).
- Only unlocked after completing an offer.
- Not really worth the effort unless you’re squeezing every penny.
7. Location Rewards
- If you enable location tracking, AppKarma gives $0.05 (50 pts) for visiting certain stores.
- Sometimes you don’t even need to go inside, just be near the location.
- Limits are unclear for daily or weekly, but it’s a nice passive perk if you travel a lot.
8. Offerwalls
- Currently has My Chips and Digital Turbine Rewards.
- Payouts are noticeably weaker compared to other platforms, especially Digital Turbine.

- Playtime rewards are weak unless you have “earn per minute.”

🤔 Final Thoughts
AppKarma is a fairly solid beermoney app, especially if you like grinding mobile game offers. The account level bonus makes it better for long-term users, and the obscure game offers give it an edge over other platforms that all recycle the same options.
While some payouts are weaker than competitors, the rebates, scratch cards, and passive location rewards make up for it. If you’re already in the beermoney space, I’d definitely recommend giving AppKarma a try, just stick to the high-value offers and ignore the low-paying fluff.

Why am I not receiving points after completing an offer?
This happens occasionally due to tracking errors. Here’s what you can do:
- Wait 24–48 hours (sometimes it’s just delayed).
- Ensure you installed the app through AppKarma only.
- Take screenshots of your progress and contact support with proof.
Note: Support doesn’t always resolve every missing offer, but it’s worth trying.
What is the minimum payout on AppKarma, and how fast is payment?
Minimum payout depends on the reward:

Does AppKarma work worldwide?

AppKarma vs. CashKarma — what’s the difference?
- AppKarma: Focuses on offers and game tasks.
- CashKarma: Essentially the same app, but also includes surveys from providers like Bitlabs, CPX Research, TapResearch, and others.
If you want more survey options in addition to offers, CashKarma may be better. Otherwise, they’re nearly identical.
