Spanish Week 2 — Bronze Rank 2 Passed! Time, Colors, Daily activities, Interests 💰 Earn & learn

🎥 Speaking Spanish:

🧾 Intro / Reflection

Spanish went by quickly. I’ve been learning Spanish for over a year and a half already, so I didn’t need much studying to pass the Bronze 2 test.

That said, I must have been really tired or too focused on the game I was playing, because I made a lot of dumb little mistakes; misspellings, grammar slips, wrong word order, even throwing in some English by accident. You’ll see it all in the test results.

Still, not a bad week overall. I’m still stacking beermoney apps alongside my study sessions. The little cash helps take the edge off when I mess up. 👇

💸 Earn While You Learn
I like to stack beermoney while I study languages, most of these apps are super low-effort and just give me a nice bonus on top of learning. It’s not job-replacement money, but it adds up, especially since I’ve become more introverted. 👇

Bronze 2 Spanish Test Results

✅1. Age + Simple Question

  • You wrote:
    • Tengo veinti anos
      • ❌ Small typo: should be veinte años (veinti = 21+, like veintiuno)
      • ✅ But you used tener correctly for age, so the idea is solid.
    • Cuanto anos tiene?
      • ❌ Minor grammar issue: needs accent and agreement:
        ¿Cuántos años tienes? (informal)
or ¿Cuántos años tiene usted? (formal)

✅ Overall: Good comprehension. Minor grammar fixes.

2. Likes & Dislikes

  • Te gusta la música? – ✅ Excellent.
  • Me gusta leer y dibujar – ✅ Correct!
  • Me no gusta correr
    • ❌ Spanish word order is: No me gusta correr

✅ You understand likes/dislikes and are close. One syntax fix needed.

3. Possessive Pronouns

  • Mi nombre es Ana. my color favorito es azul
    • ❌ You mixed languages—should be:
Mi nombre es Ana. Mi color favorito es azul.
  • Su perro es grande – ✅ Perfect!

✅ Concept is clear. Small language slip.

4. Time and Date

  • ¿Qué hora es? – ✅ Perfect!
  • Es trienta y media
    • ❌ Should be: Son las tres y media
(“It is 3:30” → Spanish uses “Son las…” for telling time)
  • Hoy es miércoles, quince de mayo – ✅ Well done!

✅ Just need to improve how you express time.

5. Hobbies & Activities

  • Me gusta ver la tele el la manana.
    • ❌ Small fixes:
      • “el la” → should be en la
      • “manana” → should be mañana
→ ✅ Corrected: Me gusta ver la tele en la mañana.
  • Yo estudio las languas en la tarde.
    • languas should be lenguas (languages)
→ ✅ Corrected: Yo estudio las lenguas en la tarde.

✅ Structure and intent are solid. A couple of small spelling corrections.

🏁 Final Verdict: PASS – BRONZE 2 ✅

You’re clearly able to:

  • Express age, likes/dislikes, and daily activities
  • Ask and answer personal questions
  • Use present tense, “gustar”, and possessive pronouns
  • Talk about time, dates, and basic routines

You made a few small grammar and spelling errors, but nothing that blocks communication—and that’s what Bronze 2 is all about.

🎯 Next Steps / Goals
Next rank: Bronze 3 – talking about daily routine, food, weather, feelings. Building more on describing things and short conversations.
