Honeygain is a passive beermoney make money online app and website that pays you for sharing your internet bandwidth and unused data. Once set up, the app runs quietly in the background on your desktop or mobile device.
The platform acts as a residential proxy network, helping partnered companies:
- Bypass geographic restrictions
- Test apps or services with real-world traffic
- Verify ads and SEO data
- Gather competitive business intelligence
This allows companies to browse the internet through real IP addresses around the world, and you get paid for helping enable that.

- Download and install Honeygain on desktop or mobile.
- Enable the option to start sharing your internet.
- Honeygain will randomly select your connection when your device is on and compensate you for the data shared.
- Earn their in-app currency passively.
- Once you reach at least $20 worth, you can cash out.

- Keeping a device on 24/7 with Honeygain running
- Installing it on multiple devices connected to the same WiFi (although results may vary)
I only use one device, so I haven’t tested using multiples personally.
📈 Increasing earnings
There are a few ways people say can increase earnings, though not all are confirmed.
- Time device is on — I don’t have definitive proof, but it makes sense: the longer Honeygain runs on a device, the more opportunities it has to be selected. What I’m unsure about is whether Honeygain rewards “reliability” (long uptime) by choosing those devices more often.
- More devices — I haven’t tested this thoroughly (I’ve mostly used one device), so I can’t confirm. I plan to test adding devices soon to see if it makes a difference.
- Additional IP addresses — Honeygain lists this in their FAQ, so it’s likely legit. I can’t personally confirm because I don’t have multiple IPs or unlimited mobile data. Getting extra static IPs from your ISP is usually expensive and not worth it just for Honeygain, so if you have unlimited phone data, using your phone as an additional device/IP is a practical option. (Make sure all extra devices/IPs are on the same Honeygain account.)
💸 Jumptask – Worth It?
Honeygain offers a 10% bonus if you enable Jumptask, which pays out in cryptocurrency instead of PayPal. You’ll need:
- A Jumptask account
- A crypto wallet
I personally don’t recommend it, since cashing out in crypto adds unnecessary friction, especially for small passive earnings. But if you’re comfortable with crypto, it may be worth the bonus.
There are gas fees, so it might result in less profit after paying the fees if you want to get your crypto into cash.

Pawns.app also provides surveys and game offers (I’d recommend doing the game offers else where). Honeygain only lets you learn from selling your unused data.
