What is InboxDollars?
InboxDollars is a GPT (Get Paid To) Make money online site and app where you can earn money online through:
- Surveys
- Offers
- Scratch cards
- Games
- True[X] ads
- Search bonuses
- WinIt codes
It’s now owned by Prodege, the same company behind Swagbucks.
Just a side note r/beermoney don’t like me sharing information and tips, so I decided to create a blog and YouTube channel to share my experience and tips.
My Honest Thoughts: Going Downhill
Over the years, InboxDollars has removed many of its best and easiest earning options. It used to offer:
- Games that helped fill the Scratch & Win meter
- Passive video ads that you could run in the background
Those are now gone, leaving behind a much less rewarding platform. It’s often considered a worse version of Swagbucks.
The True[X] Offer: Still Worth It (For Some)
One of the only reasons I still use InboxDollars is True[X], a location-based video ad offer that pays $0.02 per ad watched. Here’s how to access it:
How to Find True[X]:
- Use a browser, not the app
- Go to the “Offers” tab
- Scroll to “Offers From Our Trusted Partners”
- Click “View All”
- If you only see Tapjoy, refresh the page
- If True[X] flashes for a second and disappears, you may have access
- Best time to catch it: 7:00 A.M. UTC (daily reset time)
Note: True[X] availability varies by location and time. It’s inconsistent and slowly getting worse.

You can find this under:
- Desktop: Daily List at top right
- Mobile: Tap the ☰ menu → look for “Daily List”
It doesn’t pay you directly but helps fill the Scratch & Win meter.
Pro Tip: I only do this every other day to claim the first-tier scratch card, filling the entire bar isn’t worth it anymore.
Search Earnings (Web Only)
You can earn by doing daily searches under the Search tab. Unfortunately, they raised the required number of searches to qualify for rewards. It takes longer now, and I personally skip it.
Survey Experience
Surveys on InboxDollars are slightly less strict than Swagbucks, and you’re less likely to get locked out, but:
- Most surveys are low paying
- Only some are worth it (short, fair-pay surveys are rare)
- Guaranteed surveys have a blue thumbs-up icon
- Desktop only
- You still need to get disqualified to get paid
Warning: Don’t intentionally fail surveys. InboxDollars may flag or ban you.
WinIt Codes
If you’re active on Reddit, check r/InboxDollars for WinIt codes.
- Desktop: More → WinIt
- Mobile: ☰ → WinIt
They appear a few times a week.
Note: I don’t do them, they don’t feel as readily available as Swagbucks, nor do they feel as easy to catch.
Multi-Level Game Offers: Avoid Them
InboxDollars has a lot of game-based offers, but:
- Requirements are harder than other platforms
- Often require purchases
- Other platforms pay more for less effort

Note: Unlike Swagbucks, there are no discounted gift cards or monthly instant PayPal options here.
🤔 Verdict: Should You Use InboxDollars in 2025?
Unless you have access to True[X], it’s hard to recommend InboxDollars today.
✅ Pros:
- Multiple ways to earn
- True[X] can be passive-ish
- Guaranteed surveys (sometimes)
- Wide cashout selection
❌ Cons:
- True[X] is hard to access and worse than before
- Earning methods are being removed
- Offers often require spending money
- Worse than Swagbucks in almost every way
Final Thoughts
InboxDollars has really fallen behind other GPT sites. Unless you have access to True[X], I wouldn’t recommend using it heavily in 2025. Still, if you want to stack GPT sites, it might be worth checking for:
- True[X] availability
- Guaranteed surveys
- New offers or WinIt codes

- Surveys often disappear from app — check on desktop
Can I Use InboxDollars on Multiple Devices or Locations?
Yes, just don’t create multiple accounts. I use it on desktop and mobile from the same IP, no issue. Avoid VPNs.
